Wanneer twee belangen botsen? Wanneer je moet kiezen tussen het snelle en het juiste?<\/p><p><b>Da viser v\u00e6rdigestuurd leiderschap echt zijn waarde.<\/b><\/p><p>Waarden zijn geen decoratie. Verhelder het dilemma<\/b><\/p><p>Wat is het probleem \u2013 en welke overwegingen trekken in verschillende richtingen?<\/p><p><b>2. Benoem de waarden die op het spel staan<\/b><\/p><p>Welke van onze waarden raken deze situatie? Is er conflict tussen hen?<\/p><p><b>3. Vraag: Wat betekenen die waarden in de praktijk - hier en nu?<\/b><\/p><p>Hoe handel je \u201cmet respect\u201d? Hoe ziet \u201cfatsoen\u201d of \u201cverantwoordelijkheid\u201d eruit - juist in deze situatie?<\/p><p><b>4. Neem beslissingen \u2013 en verklaar deze met de waarden<\/b><\/p><p>Dat maakt je duidelijk als leider. Verschillende medewerkers zouden hierdoor worden getroffen \u2013 en zij kon ervoor kiezen het kort en bondig naar buiten te brengen, om \u201cverder te gaan\u201d.<\/p><p>Een van de kernelementen van de organisatie was transparantie.<\/p><p>Ze kozen er daarom voor om de tijd te nemen om de beslissing openlijk uit te leggen:<\/p><ul><li>Wat er achter[lag]<\/li><li>Welke overwegingen er gemaakt<\/li><li>Wat het zou betekenen voor de individuele medewerkers<\/li><\/ul><p>Het duurde langer.<\/p><p>Maar het werd met respect ontvangen \u2013 juist omdat zij zelf respect toonde.
